Volcanoes | Earth's Breathing Windows

Prompt

Use VIFE Lite to create a 4-page, 16:9, editable English volcano science slide deck: the cover shows a volcano cross-section; page 2 labels the crater, conduit, magma chamber and volcanic cone; page 3 explains how an eruption happens; page 4 covers hazards, monitoring and early warning. Use a science-museum exhibit-panel style in deep charcoal, lava orange and warm white, built with native text and shapes; keep it scientifically accurate and do not invent case studies or statistics.

Volcanoes: Inside an Eruption

The 4-slide deck is built, but I have to be straight with you about one thing: the PPTX render never produced a file. Here is exactly where it stands.

The deck — finished and validated

  • 4 slides, 16:9 (1600×900), English, everything editable native text and native vector shapes — no images, no raster, no flattened text.
  • Palette: deep charcoal #1F1D1A ground, lava orange #E8590C for structure and leader lines, warm white #F5F0E8 reading copy, warm grey #8A8079 for strata and hairlines.
  • Final validation passed with 0 issues / 0 warnings at revision 10.

What's on each page

  1. Cover — "Volcanoes: Inside an Eruption", kicker "Science-Museum Exhibit Panel". Left title block; right, a flat cross-section built from editable vector paths: layered cone with a crater notch at the summit, ground line, conduit descending to an irregular magma chamber, strata hairlines.
  2. Anatomy of a Volcano — the same cross-section enlarged, with four non-crossing orange leader lines to a definition column: crater, conduit, volcanic cone, magma chamber, each with a one-line plain-English definition.
  3. How an Eruption Happens — five numbered steps (magma forms → rises → gas exsolves as pressure drops → magma fragments → style set by viscosity, basaltic vs andesitic–rhyolitic), paired with a small cross-section motif whose badges 1–5 mark where each step happens.
  4. Hazards, Monitoring and Early Warning — three panels under orange rules: seven hazards (lava flows, ash fall and ash clouds, pyroclastic density currents, lahars, volcanic gases, ballistic projectiles, debris avalanches); five monitoring methods (seismicity, ground deformation, gas emissions, thermal change, visual/satellite observation); the early-warning chain from instrument network to observatory to alert levels to evacuation planning.

All of it is general textbook volcanology — no named volcanoes, no dates, no statistics, no invented case studies.

What went wrong The export request (id 3251b43b-5574-5dd5-9200-2cfd3e47d3cb) has sat at status "queued", progress 0, artifact null since it was submitted, with its timestamp never advancing. When I tried to re-submit the export against the validated revision, the service refused with PRESENTATION_EXPORT_ALREADY_ACTIVE — the stuck record counts as an active export — and flagged it do-not-retry, so I stopped rather than hammering it. No PPTX fileId exists to hand you, and I won't pretend otherwise.

The deck itself is fine and open to you here: Volcanoes: Inside an Eruption

Open it in the presentation panel — every element is editable there, and the panel's own Export will render the PPTX (it may also clear on its own, since the render is still registered as in progress). If you'd rather I keep at it, say so in a new message and I'll retry the export against that deck; nothing needs rebuilding.
